Copywriting

I’ve penned pun-filled headlines for Trusted Media Brands, Inc. (formerly Reader’s Digest Association), plus wrote activity synopses for Google’s travel site Touring Bird. Additionally, I spent five years on the marketing team at Mr & Mrs Smith, the global travel company. As the US-based Copy Lead, I wrote product descriptions, newsletters, landing pages, and mailers, plus developed content strategy for marketing campaigns. Additionally, I created and managed the brand’s travel blog, WordSmith.

Newsletters

campaign creative

I love to get in on the ground level of a marketing campaign, from brainstorming concepts clear through penning a landing page. The colder it got in the Windy City, the more the prices dropped for hotel/flight packages to Florida. I came up with the campaign name “Flee the Frost,” the tagline “The colder the air, the better the fare,” and our temperature markers (brisk, biting, and bleak).
